Participant Confidentiality & Community Agreement
Queen UP is intended to be a safe, respectful, and supportive space where women can speak honestly about their experiences, emotions, challenges, growth, and personal journeys. Creating that environment requires every participant to protect the dignity and privacy of the women who enter this space.
By participating in Queen UP meetings, group sessions, workshops, discussions, or related activities, I agree to the following:
WHAT IS SHARED HERE, STAYS HERE.
I understand that I may hear personal stories, struggles, emotions, experiences, opinions, and other sensitive information shared by fellow participants.
I agree that I will not disclose, repeat, post, forward, record, screenshot, photograph, publish, gossip about, or otherwise share another participant’s personal information or story outside of the Queen UP space without that person’s explicit permission.
I will not identify another participant as a member of Queen UP without her permission.
I understand that another woman’s vulnerability is not my story to tell.
I WILL HONOR THE SPACE
I agree to listen without judgment, respect different experiences and perspectives, and allow each woman to determine how much of her personal story she wishes to share.
I understand that participation never gives me permission to use another woman’s pain, experiences, disclosures, or vulnerability as conversation outside the group.
NO RECORDING OR SHARING
Unless expressly authorized by Queen UP, I will not make audio recordings, video recordings, photographs, screenshots, transcripts, or other reproductions of Queen UP meetings or participant discussions.
CONFIDENTIALITY HAS LIMITS
I understand that Queen UP expects every participant to honor this agreement; however, Queen UP cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality.
I also understand that confidentiality may have legal, ethical, or safety-related limitations depending on the nature of the program, services provided, and applicable law. Any professional confidentiality obligations and their limitations will be explained separately when applicable.
OUR SHARED COMMITMENT
Queen UP is a place where women should be able to remove the armor they wear in the outside world without fearing that their vulnerability will follow them outside the room.
By joining this community, I agree to protect that trust.
Her story is hers.
Her vulnerability is sacred.
Her journey deserves respect.
